There are more than just a few bullet points on this list – with all apologies to some friends in Houston, San Antonio, and the Dallas area – but THIS ARTICLE makes me REALLY glad I don’t live in a state where the education of all children in public schools becomes a religious referendum.  It’s a long article, but parts of it will make your hair stand up on end.

How would you like the folks making the decisions on what to teach your kids to tell you they truly believe the earth is less than ten thousand years old and was created in six, literal, twenty-four hour days?

Texans… you have to live with these folks – more power to you!  (We have enough trouble with a few of our own here in North Carolina!)
