“At The River:” A Powerful New Documentary on Racism in the South

I just learned of a new documentary on racism in the south.  Filmmaker Carolyn Crowder has created “At The River” where she interviews white Presbyterian Pastors who actually stood up and spoke out (and acted against) racism in the civil-rights era south.  Powerful words by these men who lived through the fear and had the courage to do what was right.  Some of them are men I know and consider friends as well as colleagues.

I’ve inquired about any virtual screenings in our area. (After being very sick with Covid recently, I’m back to being better safe than sorry about crowds and indoor events.)  So far, nothing is scheduled, but you should stay tuned and watch for an opportunity to see this film.
