I really like Brian McLaren.  From the day he practically stopped his work at church to welcome Judy and I to worship that Sunday morning – making us feel like we were celebrity guests with a red carpet rolled out for us – I’ve long considered Brian a friend as well as colleague and one of those “rock stars” that have so much to say to the rest of us.  I’ve been incredibly grateful for the way he speaks to those of us from various different tribes and denominations, with respect for our beliefs and traditions and at the same time calling us to be more than we sometimes are willing to settle for.

He spoke at this year’s Wild Goose Festival; held last month just up I-77 from us at Union Grove, NC. This is well wroth the time you’ll spend watching and listening.
