At church this morning, I had a member get really irate with a couple of vaguely political references I made in my sermon.  A bona-fide maga(t), he was really angry that I would DARE to use church, worship and my sermon to mix politics and faith.  I confess, I didn’t do a very good job at both explaining my point of view as well as my decision that I will do what I think best from MY pulpit.  I wish I could have done as good a job as Father David does here!  Wow!  End of subject / class dismissed.
