We managed to get to the beach this past week for a few days.  This trip the sit on top kayaks went with us for some paddling in the ocean surf.  Which is… sort of fun.  At least it is in this first video.  There’s another coming where the surf is so rough we should have walked away.

The next time out, the tide was wrong, wind was up, current was strong, and surf was running 3 – 5 feet.  All of which should have said, “GO AWAY!”  But did we listen?  No, we didn’t.  And paid the price with a considerable beat down.
