To the dismay of some of my church members, on Sunday, November 10th, I “went there” with my Sunday sermon.  I truly believe that if sermons are about listening to Scripture illuminate our lives and speaking truth to power, then truth telling needs to be spoken aloud.  I did just that on that Sunday morning.
