It’s a sad day. There’s no more Spenser, Hawk, Jesse Stone, Commander Healy, Rita Fiore, or Susan Silverman.  (Not to mention Pearl, the wonder dog.)

Robert B. Parker, creator of all those wonderful characters in his quick but entertaining Crime novels, died yesterday.
