Sometimes you just need to kill it off and start rebuilding.  Forget any stats or readers, archives or anything “pithy” you once said out loud.  It’s easier just to let it crash and start all over again.

Thankfully, the miracle of database backups means it’s not really gone; unless you want it to be.  (Which is definitely the case with some previous thoughts that are now missing from the archive!)

And since WordPress is now part of what I do for a living, rebuilding means doing it better than it was.  The WordPress 2012 Theme is light years ahead of what used to show up here.
