Selma wasn’t what I expected it to be.  Of course I knew it would be somewhat “political” – how could anyone think about “Bloody Sunday,” March  6, 1965 and NOT understand it’s political!  (And March 6th is correct – not March 7th that I erroneously mention several different times!) What surprised me was the ironic juxtaposition of what happened back then, and what’s happening right now.  I’ll be curious if you come away with the same thoughts.
