It took just six minutes for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lie to the Senate Finance Committee today.  Six minutes of gibberish before he boldly showed why he fits into Trump’s Maga camp so well:  “News reports claim I am anti-vaccine…I am not,” he said in his opening statement.  What was interesting was that in response, a protester in the audience, shouted, “You lie.”  She was removed from the hearing room by Capitol Hill police.  Someone tells the truth in front of this GOP-controlled Senate and they are removed.  Nominees lie through their teeth (like Pete Hegseth, Kristi Noem, and now Kennedy have done) and they are likely to be confirmed.

And the big question remains:  Why is something so despicable apparently just fine with the republican rank and file in our Congress?  Another nail in the coffin of what was once a proud and unique republic.
