An interesting article outlining the fallout from Trump and Vance acting like schoolyard bullies yesterday in their embarrassing treatment of President Zelenskyy of Ukraine.

“What US lawmakers are saying about the White House clash between Trump and Zelenskyy” outlines what both republicans and democrats in Congress are saying:

I’m not the least bit interested in the GOP Reps and senators comments; as expected these sycophants are lining up to kiss Trump’s ass in public all over again – like they’ve done so many times it’s really not news anymore.

But the Democrats who commented raise an interesting – and important – question.  Here’s a few, all centered around the theme of Trump’s apparent subordinate relationship to Vladimir Putin:

SENATE DEMOCRATIC LEADER CHUCK SCHUMER, New York:
“Trump and Vance are doing Putin’s dirty work. Senate Democrats will never stop fighting for freedom and democracy.”

HOUSE DEMOCRATIC LEADER HAKEEM JEFFRIES, New York:
“Today’s White House meeting with the President of Ukraine was appalling and will only serve to further embolden Vladimir Putin, a brutal dictator. The United States must not reward Russian aggression and continue to appease Putin.”

SEN. CHRIS MURPHY, Connecticut:
“It was a planned ambush designed to embarrass President Zelenskyy in order to benefit Vladimir Putin. That was an embarrassment. That was an abomination. What you watched was American power being destroyed in the world as everybody watches President Trump become a lapdog for a brutal dictator in Moscow.”

What ties all these comments together is what also raises the obvious question.  If there is ANY truth – at all – to these statements about how Trump has cozied up into such a close relationship with a dictator that is clearly our enemy?  Why is the House not – RIGHT NOW – opening an investigation into Impeaching Trump as a traitor?  Let’s not forget the long-standing questions as to financial support Trump’s received from Russia.  Or the interference and disinformation that Russia has engaged in to support Trump and put a “vassal” to Putin into the oval office.  if Trump is helping Russia in a war against an ally, then he is… (wait for it)… BETRAYING AMERICA  and has already disqualified himself from office!

What are the Democrats waiting on?  Are they going to sit back until the damage Trump is doing is irreparable?  Yep, that’s a GREAT strategy, folks!
