The third time really isn’t the “charm.”  One more attempt to paddle to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and back.  And once more the wind and tides worked against us.  This time we actually launched and got about a mile offshore, before moving out into unprotected water where the NE wind coming down Core Sound showed us how foolish we were!  Share the adventure with us!
