So… The Trumpster held a cabinet meeting yesterday – AKA another opportunity for President Musk to upstage everyone else – and among the notable moments of lunacy and utter stupidity:

Robert Kennedy, Jr. opines that the measles outbreak in West Texas and New Mexico, where one child has already died, is “not unusual.”

Never mind that it’s the worst outbreak in Texas in over 30 years.  Never mind that the numbers are already rivaling an entire year’s total for the ENTIRE UNITED STATES.  Never mind ANY facts or actual logic… These bozos declare that the sky is green, up is down, tariffs are going to work, and Trump is beloved by all – and it must be true, right?  They remind me of the Bandar-log, or Monkey People in Rudyard Kipling’s book “The Jungle Book.”  (The Book – not the Disney movie.)  There’s a fabulous line attributed to their leader (who would be “King Louie” in the movie):  “We are the noblest, wisest and prettiest of all the creatures in the jungle… and that MUST be true – because WE ALL SAY SO!”

That’s the stupidity that’s running rampant in the Liar-in-Chief’s band of thieves, from top to bottom.  I never thought I’d say this:  But these people make me embarrassed to be an American.
