We paddled 8.75 miles of the Uhwarrie River this past Monday.  From the Hwy 109 bridge near Eldorado, NC down to Morrow Mountain State Park ramp on Lake Tillery where the Yadkin River becomes the Pee Dee River.  This video are some of the highlights of a really great 4-hour paddle.  The water level was 2.68 feet – a bit low so we scrubbed rocks at a few places but the class I+ and II- rapids were a blast.  Top of the list was paddling right under two bald eagles at one point!
